This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all bookings, tests, rentals, purchases, and services provided by Okto Healthcare & Services LLP.
1. Test Cancellation and Refund
For diagnostic tests and home monitoring services, no refund will be applicable once the test has been conducted, device has been installed, monitoring has started, technician has visited, or service has been delivered.
No refund will be provided after completion of test setup or post-test, including cases where the patient changes their mind, does not consult a doctor, does not use the report, or disagrees with the report outcome.
2. Rescheduling of Tests
Test rescheduling may be allowed subject to technician availability and prior notice.
Okto Healthcare reserves the right to reschedule, modify, postpone, or cancel a test due to technician unavailability, equipment unavailability, patient safety concerns, incorrect details, operational issues, weather, traffic, emergency situations, or technical reasons.
3. Report-Related Refunds
Reports are generated based on recorded data, signal quality, device output, patient cooperation, and technical review.
Refunds will not be issued only because the report outcome is not as expected, the customer/patient disagrees with the result, or the report requires medical interpretation by a doctor.
In case of major technical failure or unusable recording caused by equipment/service issue, Okto Healthcare may offer a repeat test, partial refund, or suitable resolution at its discretion.
4. Equipment Rental Cancellation and Refund
Equipment rental is for a minimum period of 30 days, irrespective of actual usage.
Once equipment is delivered or handed over, rental charges for the minimum rental period are non-refundable.
Early return of equipment will not qualify for refund or reduction of rental charges.
The customer agrees not to bargain, dispute, or request refund of rental charges after equipment delivery or usage.
5. Security Deposit Refund
Security deposit, if collected, is refundable only after the equipment is returned to Okto Healthcare and inspected.
The deposit refund may be adjusted against:
Pending rental dues, damage charges, missing accessories, repair cost, replacement cost, delivery/collection charges, late return charges, cleaning/sanitization charges, or any other outstanding amount.
Deposit refund will be processed only after inspection and reconciliation.
6. Product Purchase Cancellation
For equipment purchases, cancellation may be accepted only before dispatch, billing, installation, or delivery.
Once the product is dispatched, delivered, opened, installed, used, registered, or activated, cancellation may not be accepted.
7. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds, if any, will be processed to the original payment method or bank account provided by the customer.
Refund timelines may depend on payment gateway, bank, UPI, card network, or payment partner processing time. Razorpay’s customer dispute guide indicates that customers may need to wait around 7–10 business days for delivery/service-related resolution before escalating a dispute.
8. Non-Refundable Charges
The following charges may be non-refundable:
Technician visit charges, delivery charges, pickup charges, installation charges, consumables, masks, tubes, used accessories, test charges after service, minimum rental period charges, payment gateway charges where applicable, and any service already delivered.
