Rental Package and Optional Add-ons
The CPAP rental includes the machine and its power adapter. Integrated or compatible humidifier support is available according to the model. A brand-new ergonomic mask, brand-new breathing tube and medical-grade distilled water can be supplied at an additional cost when required.
Patients who already own a suitable compatible mask and tube may continue using them and do not need to purchase another set. Okto does not keep, disinfect or reissue used patient masks or tubes.

Home installation by a trained biomedical engineer is available and may include:

Support During the Rental

For continuing rentals, quarterly on-site equipment disinfection is available on request. The patient or caregiver must contact Okto Healthcare to initiate and schedule the service.
Clinical governance: Biomedical engineers provide equipment-related assistance. Therapy selection, clinical interpretation and changes to prescribed pressure settings remain with the treating medical team.

Fixed-pressure CPAP delivers one prescribed pressure throughout therapy. Auto CPAP adjusts pressure within a clinician-defined minimum and maximum range in response to detected breathing events. BiPAP provides separate inspiratory and expiratory pressures.
The correct device, mode and settings depend on the diagnosis, prescription, comfort and clinical response. A rental provider should not independently switch a patient between CPAP, Auto CPAP and BiPAP therapy.
Our CPAP Disinfection Process
Before dispatch, applicable reusable machine components are physically cleaned to remove visible residue and processed using a dedicated enclosed activated-oxygen sanitising system. Components are then adequately aerated and visually inspected before issue.
A new compatible disposable filter is supplied with every rental order. Disposable, damaged or unsuitable components are not treated as reusable merely because they have undergone a sanitising cycle.
